The 4th International FMR1 Premutation conference will be held from Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th September 2019 in Rotterdam. There will be lectures about basic mechanisms, clinical involvement, therapy and biomarkers. On Friday afternoon there will be an introduction of a new special topic that is focused on FMR1 premutation carrier perspectives, in collaboration with the European Fragile X Network.
There will be several renowned keynote speakers with different backgrounds. By sharing information and discussing progress in our collective understanding of premutation disorders, together with world's leading investigators in the field, we hope that this meting will inspire new collaborations and novel research and treatment initiatives.
The program will also include a dinner buffet at the Nhow hotel on the Wednesday and a social program on the Friday evening. The social program will consist of a 3-hour boat trip with a Spido boat, departure form the Nhow hotel and during the trip you will see the skyline of Rotterdam (Erasmus and Willems bridges), the Botlek area (large ships and drilling platforms), Eem harbor, Waal harbor and Maas harbor (SS Rotterdam is docked here). Durig the boat trip you can enjoy a dinner buffet, the sunset and views of the city and harbor at night).
