Abstract: Neuropsychiatric disorders are among the most heritable human traits. Genome-wide association (GWAS) studies have rapidly improved insight into these disorders by discovery of novel risk loci and genes. Genetic risk prediction using polygenic risk scores (PRS) are a promising tool for risk stratification, subgroup identification and counseling. Could this also contribute to improved patient care?
